DescriptionPlaque, Insignia; Wooden rectangular plaque with brass circular medallion of a port side view of Intrepid in relief with “Fighting ‘I’ // U.S.S. Intrepid” encircling it. The back has two screws, a wire attached to nails for hanging, “4” Spread // 1 ½ drop” written in pencil, and “SPIB B&B 562” stamped in black. Same design of insignia used on the plaque given to Scott Carpenter, see P00.2013.01.358.On View
