- Awards, citations and certificates mark Kelley's: education at the Educational U.S. Naval School, U.S. Naval War College, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and Air University; naval appointments; earning the Legion of Merit, gold stars in lieu of Legion of Merit, and Joint Service Commendation Award; and honors from societies and county government. A citation and accompanying documentation for the Legion of Merit is contained within a blue plastic hardcover folder (Phase Box 1, 00.2009.27.11) whose cover reads "Headquarters / United States / Military Assistance Command / Vietnam."

Linder, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It is in regard to a reception in honor of the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations, in which a print of the original USS Intrepid donated to Decatur House by the current Intrepid would be unveiled.
