Aircraft include Douglas A-4B Skyhawk of anti-submarine fighter squadron VSF-3 with modex (nose number) in the 100 series, Douglas A-4C Skyhawk of Attack Squadron VA-15 with modex number 200 series, Douglas A-4C Skyhawk of Attack Squadron VA-34 with modex number 300 series, Vought F-8G Crusader of Fighter Squadron VF-111 (Det. 11) with an incomplete modex of 16, Vought RF-8G Photo Crusaders from Light Photographic Squadron VFP-63 (Det. 11) with modex numbers 401 and 403. Aircraft parked on the aft deck include a Grumman E-1B Tracer of Airborne Early Warning Squadron VAW-121 (Det.11) and a Douglas A-1H Skyraider of Attack Squadron VA-145 with modex number 505. Pri-Fly, or primary flight control, is on the left. A video camera is inside pri-fly. The water of the ship is calm and the sky is blue with light clouds.Slide mount has “Made in U.S.A. U.S. Pat. No. 3,013,354” printed in yellow and “34” and “Nov 67R7” printed in black on one side. “Ektachrome // transparency // processed by Kodak” printed in blue on the other side.
