DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Square image of USS Intrepid’s island. There are yellow aircraft carts parked on the flight deck near the aft end of the island. The ship’s hull number (11) and “Beware of jet blast, intakes and props” are painted on the island. The image offers a clear view of primary flight control, or pri-fly, and the filming booth, as well as some of the radar antennae. There is a white border around the image. The left edge is stamped, “Jun 72”. The back of the paper has “Kodak Paper” across it and is captioned "U.S.S. Intrepid" in blue ink.
