DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Square image of a Grumman E-1 Tracer taxiing down the flight deck after catching an arresting wire. The plane's tailhook is still attached to the wire. In the lower part of the image, a crew member wearing green is waving at the plane. The plane has nose number 775 and tail number 8908. The open water in the background is calm. The photograph was taken looking down from the island. “Technicolor” is in the lower left corner. The back has "A Kodak® Paper" repeating throughout.
