DescriptionPatch, Military; Vertical oval yellow patch with a dark blue border. Depicts first Growler seal that reads “USS Growler // SSG 577” and the Latin motto “Telo utor // peregrinabor” (have missile, will travel). The seal’s imagery depicts the globe and has a blue border, orange continents and yellow oceans. The submarine Growler is positioned in the Atlantic Ocean with a Regulus II missile taking off in the center of the image. The patch has been cut off navy blue fabric.
