DescriptionPhotograph, Black and White; Horizontal press photograph of pilot and artist Edward Ritter seated at center, surrounded by four officers who look on as Ritter draws a cartoon on a large sheet of paper. The cartoon is of an anthropomorphic airplane. Ritter wears a dark baseball cap and has a pen tucked behind his ear. The man in the upper left corner wears a garrison cap, and a man in the upper right corner wears a dark baseball cap similar to Ritter's. All of the men have light skin and dark hair.The reverse of the photograph features various inscriptions:
