DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal horizontal image of a bulkhead in the brig on USS Intrepid. "Brig Staff // Only // Enter Here" is printed in black and yellow paint with a drawing of a hand pointing towards the door underneath it that reads "Knock" in red paint. There is a drawing of a Marine with a white helmet with "Get Up the // Ladder!" in a speech bubble above him in red and blue paint. There is a drawing of a white Navy enlisted hat, also known as a "Dixie cup," with a face and legs with "USN" in blue paint on it and "Se Ae Ae // S2" in yellow paint above it. Underneath the drawings, there is a list of names that reads "CPL Ness // CPL Tanner // CPL Mehlig // CPL Paxton // CPL Voelkel // CPL Edgerton" printed in red paint. There is a compartment checklist visible on an electrical panel. There is a white border around the image with "Sep 72" printed in blue ink.
