DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Horizontal image of an underway replenishment between USS Intrepid and USS Denebola (AF-56), a Denebola-class stores ship. Denebola’s hull number is visible, and crew members in deck jackets and hard hats stand on that ship's deck. A cargo net loaded with supplies in cardboard boxes is being transferred from Denebola to Intrepid via a line that connects the two ships. The photograph was taken from inside Intrepid’s hangar deck looking out through an opening in the starboard side of the ship. Intrepid’s crew members appear in silhouette at the bottom center of the photograph. The men are wearing life jackets and hard hats. There is a white border around the image. On View
