DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal square image of a Kaman UH-2B Sea Sprite on Intrepid's flight deck as seen from an upper level of the island. The identifications on the aircraft include "HU" on the tail, "Navy // HC-2 // 9780" on the body and "07" on the front of the aircraft. There are several flight deck personnel around the aircraft and the pilots can be seen in the cockpit. There are two crewmembers in denim working uniforms watching from a lower level on the island. The sea is calm. There is a white border around the image.Donor note reads "Medical Department // U.S.S. Intrepid CVS-11 // Taking the Huey abaft the // lens" in black and blue ink.
