BiographyAlan Schumacher served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) in helicopter squadron HS-11 from July 1971 to May 1973. He was a parachute rigger third class (PR3) and also worked as a survival instructor. He also participated in the museum's oral history project (OHP.187).
