BiographyMichael L. Hoppus served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) from 1972–1973 while the ship was serving in the North Atlantic. He was a helicopter pilot with Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 11 (HS-11) and flew Sikorsky SH-3 Sea Kings.
