DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Horizontal aerial image looking down on USS Intrepid as the aircraft carrier sails in New York Harbor past the Statue of Liberty. Men are lining the forward half of the straight flight deck. The starboard aircraft elevator is raised and there are triangular roof like structures on the aft end and forward section of the deck. New Jersey is at the top of the image. Tugboats or escort boats are sailing next to Intrepid. There is a white border around the image.
