DescriptionAiguillette; U.S. Navy dress aiguillette. The aiguillette is composed of gold cord with blue stripes. There are two braided cords and four single looped cords. At the ends of the braided cords are two gilt gold metal pencils. The pencils are shaped like cones with a round, ball-like top that has gold looped fabric attached. Each pencil has two silver fouled anchors at the top on either side. There is also a raised laurel wreath design that spirals downward around the surface. There is a gold fabric becket with a pin bar clasp at the top that holds all of the cords.
