DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official horizontal image of an F4D-1 Skyray waiting to be launched off of USS Intrepid's flight deck. There is an aircraft launching off the flight deck ahead of it and some flight deck personnel can be seen on the left of the photo. The blast deflector can be seen behind the Skyray. Identification numbers on the Skyray's tail fin include "AF // 9207 // Navy" and "VF-74" is on the body. The sea is calm and the sky is cloudy in the background. There is a white border around the image.
