DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official horizontal image of two crew members standing in front of a microphone on the forward aircraft elevator (no. 1 elevator), which is being used as a stage in USS Intrepid's hangar deck. The performers are part of a variety show. One of the men is wearing a U.S. Navy khaki uniform and the other is wearing a shirt, skirt and scarf over his head. There are members of the Intrepid band sitting behind them with music stands in front of them. Instruments visible include a saxophone. All have light skin and medium to dark hair.
