DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Three official horizontal images on one page showing USS Intrepid's band performing at a Lion's Club in Japan. The top image shows the band playing on a stage with the audience sitting on couches and chairs. They are wearing U.S. Navy enlisted dress white uniforms. There is a man sitting and playing a piano and other crew members are playing a saxophone and the drums. There are some crew members in the crowd talking to civilians. The middle image shows three Japanese men presenting a gift to another man, possibly an American. They are all wearing suits and standing on a stage with a podium and plants visible. The bottom image shows a young Japanese man standing in front of the USS Intrepid performing on a stage. The young man is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and dark pants and he has medium skin and dark hair. He is holding a conductor's baton. The band is wearing U.S. Navy enlisted dress white uniforms and are playing instruments including trombones, saxophones, tubas and trumpets. There are other men in the audience and there is one man in a white suit standing in front of them. There is a black border around each image.Back has "August 22, 1966 // Unit Band 194 // U.S.S.
