BiographyRichard Thomasson served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) as a musician second class (MU2) from March 1966 to November 1966. Thomasson played the trumpet. He and band leader, Ben McHorney, composed and wrote the “Fighting I March."
