DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; (a) Official horizontal image of six ocean liners and one aircraft carrier docked at piers on the Hudson River in New York City. Most of the ships are docked at the piers, with one ocean liner coming into dock. One pier reads "United States Lines." The aircraft carrier is USS Intrepid, and aircraft are visible on the flight deck. Smaller tugboats are also visible next to several of the larger ships. A six-lane highway can be seen next to the pier with cars parked and driving.Back reads "Roffins // 14937" handwritten in pencil.
