DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official horizontal image of the Evaporator Gang, or Evap Gang, the B Division holding a cake in a ship space on USS Intrepid. There is a row of six men in front of the cake sitting and a row behind them of seven men standing behind them. Two of the men are holding a rectangular cake. The cake reads "Evap. Gang // next goal // Beer" in white icing. Most of the men have light skin and dark hair. One man has dark skin and dark hair. They are all wearing U.S. Navy working dungaree uniforms. Some are wearing dark baseball caps. A locker with the name "Rives" is in the background. There is a white border around the image.
