DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Personal horizontal image of three crew members examining a set of diagrams and plans. All have light skin with dark hair, and are clean-shaven. They are wearing U.S. Navy dungaree working uniforms. The dungarees of the two foregrounded individuals are visibly stained, and their shirtsleeves are cut off around the middle of their upper arms. One, foreground left, is wearing glasses and holding a pen; another, right, is holding a cigarette. All three are crouching and looking at a set of papers spread on a tiled deck; the bottom and largest paper appears to be a plan of ship’s compartments, while other diagrams arrayed on top show systems of piping. Closed cabinets are visible in the background. There is a white border around the image with “Sep 67” printed in black ink. Back has "1" handwritten in blue ink and a repeating watermark which reads “A Kodak Paper.”
