DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official horizontal image of officers and enlisted men looking at souvenirs along a street in a Mediterranean country, possibly Greece. On the left is an officer, who has light colored skin, speaking to a seated man that has medium-dark colored skin. The officer wears a white short-sleeved shirt, trousers and a peaked cap The man is selling Greek figurines and vases. The seated man is showing one of the figurines to the officer. Along the street, similar vendors are showing their goods to enlisted men wearing U.S. Navy dress white jumpers, trousers, "Dixie cup" hats and black neckerchiefs. The appear to have light colored skin. One sailor is looking at a textile while others are looking at figurines and vases. Along the street there is a gray van with “US Navy 93-04311” along to top of the back. In the distance there are buildings stretching up a hillside. There is a white border around the image.On View
