DescriptionHelmet, Aviator's; U.S. Navy APH-6A white flight helmet with a fabric and leather chinstrap, microphone, and radio wires. There are designs in red orange electric tape of "3" on the left side, a trident on the right side, and stripes throughout. The trident is the insignia of helicopter anti-submarine squadron HS-3.

There is a label on the back exterior that reads "APH-6A Helmet, large size // FSN 8475-078-4738 LF50 // Modified in accordance with // Nas Norva Les Gen 13/20" and "PJ Cross" on green embossing tape below. The microphone has "Talk // with lips // touching // mic", "MT-522 A/U", and "MT 521 A/U // CCOS" imprinted on it. The interior has brown leather and foam padding.
