BiographyRalph E. Nurse served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) as an aviation ordnanceman first class, AOM1, during World War II. He joined Intrepid's crew on September 12, 1943 and left the crew in February 1945. Nurse passed away in 2007.
