DescriptionSlide, Color; Horizontal image of a Douglas A-4C Skyhawk from VA-15 on the flight deck of USS Intrepid. The plane has bureau number, “149493”. A Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club logo is also on the back of the plane. The tails of other Skyhawk are on the right. One plane behind it is from VSF-3 and has bureau number, “142140”. The other plane behind it is from VA-34 and has bureau number, “147681”. The image is slightly dark and may have been taken at dusk. The sky is gray and cloudy.Slide mount has “Made in U.S.A. U.S. Pat. No. 3,013,354” printed in yellow and “21” and “Dec 67R1” printed in red on one side. “Kodachrome // transparency // processed by Kodak” printed in red on the other side.
