DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official vertical image of crew members repairing a Douglas A-1 Skyraider in the hangar deck. Panels on the airplane have been removed, and the engine is visible. One crew member stands on a ladder near the propeller of the aircraft. Another ladder stands next to the airplane. A crew member sits on the nose of the aircraft. Another man, who is standing, inspects the airplane with a flashlight. Three other crew members squat in front of the aircraft. All crewmembers are wearing white t-shirts and dungarees, and they all have light skin. There are aircraft parts and metal panels on the ground. There is a white border around the image.Back has "USS Intrepid CVS-11 // Tonkin Gulf - North Vietnam // Repairs to S.P.A.D. // J.E.B." handwritten in blue ink.
