DescriptionShirt; Blue chambray long sleeve shirt, part of the U.S. Navy's dungarees working uniform. The shirt has a collar and a button closure pocket on either side of the chest. The shirt has a center button closure with six blue plastic buttons on the proper right panel. The cuffs of each sleeve has a single blue plastic button closure. There is a black stencil above the proper left pocket that reads "Brooking". There is a black stencil on the top center back of the shirt that reads "Brooking, A." The ink of both stencils has bled through to the interior of the shirt. On the interior center back collar there is a faded black stamp that reads "Size 18 // contract da(?) - [illegible] - 352 - 53 // a(?)p - 1038".On View
