DescriptionJacket; Black USS Intrepid Mediterranean cruise jacket with metal zip closure and folded collar. There are two pockets on the front chest on either side of the zipper. The pockets have flap closures and black plastic buttons. The flap of the proper left pocket has the name “Jim” machine embroidered in white thread. The sides of the waistband are gathered with elastic. Each sleeve has a slit opening on the forearm and a cuff with one black plastic button and buttonhole. The zipper pull has the letters “Y // K // K” engraved on either side. The back of the jacket has a machine embroidered design featuring a red and yellow striped tiger with its head facing the proper left side. The tiger's mouth is open and fangs are bared. The tiger is standing on green tall grass. There is white embroidered text surrounding the tiger that reads “USS Intrepid (CVS-11) // Spain // Italy // France // Greece // Med. Cruise // 1972-1973”.On View
