DescriptionPin, Insignia; U.S. Navy officer insignia pin that depicts a silver eagle with outstretched wings grasping a shield superimposed over two bronze fouled anchors. The shield has thirteen stars in two horizontal lines at the top with thirteen vertical stripes in an alternating relief pattern below. The pin has a brooch bar pin closure. On the back of the eagle, one wing has an engraved image of a star on one side and the word "sterling" engraved on the other. Similarly, one anchor has an engraved image of a star and the other has engraved text "1/20 10k // + ster" on the crown.On View
