DescriptionBaseball cap (a) with officer insignia pin (b).a) Cap, Baseball; Navy blue baseball cap with flat brim and fabric covered button on top center. Brim has rounded corners, with yellow and gold oak leaves embroidered around the visor top. The cap has a white embroidered design of an eagle with outstretched wings grasping arrows in its talons in the front center. An officer insignia pin (b) is attached to the center of the eagle. Yellow embroidered text around the eagle design reads "The Fighting Lady // Chief Staff Cardiv 3". The interior of the hat is lined with gray fabric in the front and orange and blue plaid fabric in the back. The lining is bisected with three brown and white plaid strips to make six triangle sections. The sweatband is made from cream-colored fabric.
b) Pin, Insignia; U.S. Navy officer insignia pin attached to cap (a). The pin depicts a silver eagle with outstretched wings grasping a shield, superimposed over two gold crossed fouled anchors. The shield has stars at the top and vertical stripes below. The back of the pin has two butterfly clutch clasp pins.
