DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal, square image of two flight deck personnel refueling a Douglas A-4 Skyhawk on USS Intrepid. One man is leaning on a fuel tank, and the other is filling the tank. The men have light skin. They are both wearing dungaree trousers, purple jerseys and vests, red cloth helmets, goggles and earmuffs. A pilot in flight gear and a helmet is walking around the plane. Another crew member in dungarees and a green deck jacket is under the nose. The plane is from VA-34 and has identification number, “302”. A tow bar is attached to the aircraft. There is a white border around the image and the right edge is stamped, “May 68”.On View
