Rolland Shea

BiographyRolland "Rollie" Shea served as an aviator in the U.S. Navy. He flew from the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) with Attack Squadron 95 (VA-95) in 1966, during the ship's first Vietnam War deployment. He flew A-4 Skyhawks with VA-95. Shea was a lieutenant commander during his time on Intrepid. Before his time on the ship, Shea was assigned to Attack Squadron 152 (VA-152), where he was responsible for the training of South Vietnamese pilots on the A-1 Skyraider. Shea retired from the Navy with the rank of captain.
