DescriptionUniform, Military; U.S. Navy blue dress jumper with off-white piping along the collar and cuffs. The left sleeve has an aviation machinist's mate third class (AD3) rating badge patch with a propeller with wings, an eagle, and one red chevron. The right shoulder has a “U.S.S. Intrepid” unit identification mark and a battle efficiency third award patch with a white “E” and two hash marks. There are two pockets on the chest (right pocket opens on interior with button closure, left pocket opens on exterior). A ribbon board of two rows consisting of four service ribbons is pinned above the pocket on the left chest. It is attached by four butterfly clutch pin backings. The top row has a Navy Unit Commendation ribbon. The bottom row has three ribbons: National Defense Service, Vietnam Service with one bronze service campaign star, and Vietnam Campaign with a 1960– ribbon device.

There are two embroidered liberty patches, one sewn on the interior of each cuff. Each patch has two green and yellow gold dragons with red horns and fire coming out of their mouths surrounding “Vietnam” and a yellow bamboo border on a black background. A label sewn under the collar reads “100% wool // Name // Service no. // DSA-1-8008 // Size 40L // Cleaning instructions // Dry clean for best results // If dry cleaning is not available hand // launder in luke warm water. Use // mild soap. Squeeze suds through // garment. Do not rub or wring. Dry at // normal room temperature. // Do not remove label”. The name "Wishman" is written in white on the bottom interior hem.
