DescriptionMedal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. The front of the circular bronze medal has a relief image of troops landing on a beach with palm trees. An aircraft is overhead, and an aircraft carrier, battleship and submarine are in the background. The words “Asiatic Pacific Campaign” are at the top. The back shows an eagle standing on a rock with raised text that reads “1941–1945” on the left and “United // States of // America” on the right. The ribbon is predominantly yellow with white, red and dark blue stripes and a brooch back bar pin. The back of the bar pin has an engraving that reads “E1G1”.On View
