DescriptionMedal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. The front of the circular bronze medal has a relief image of troops landing on a beach with palm trees. An aircraft is overhead, and an aircraft carrier, battleship and submarine are in the background. The words “Asiatic Pacific Campaign” are at the top in raised lettering. The back shows an eagle standing on a rock with raised text that reads “1941 // 1945” on the left and “United // States of // America” on the right. The ribbon is predominantly yellow with dark blue, white and red stripes at center and white and red stripes at the left and right sides. It has a brooch back bar pin. The back of the bar pin has an engraving that reads “E1G1”.On View
