DescriptionRing, Life; Round, orange USS Intrepid life ring with rope. Wrapped around the edge of the life ring are four red fabric straps with loops sewn on the outer edge for a rope to pass through. A twisted hemp rope passes through all four fabric strap loops, with roughly nine feet of extra rope hanging from the end. The end of the rope is frayed. Text on the front of the life ring reads, "USS. Intrepid. // CVA. 11 // I // I // LSO. VI. Div." stenciled in black ink. On the back of the life ring in raised letters reads, "Spongex Plastic".On View
