DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Two official horizontal images on one page showing USS Intrepid's band playing their instruments while marching in a parade in Japan. The top image shows the Intrepid band lined up on a street outside. They are wearing U.S. Navy enlisted dress white uniforms and enlisted white caps, also known as "Dixie cups." There is a conductor at the front facing the band holding a baton. Visible instruments include trumpets, trombones, saxophones and tubas. There are people lining the street watching them play and other groups and buses behind them. There are mountains visible in the distance and the sky is cloudless. The bottom image shows the Intrepid band marching in a parade on a street behind a car. They are wearing U.S. Navy enlisted dress white uniforms and enlisted white caps, also known as "Dixie cups." Buildings line the street on both sides and people are watching the parade pass. There is a black border around both images.Back has "U.S.S.
