DescriptionHatband; Black U.S. Navy officer cap band or hatband. The naval officer insignia is embroidered in metallic thread on a round tab extending from the band. The insignia depicts a silver eagle with outstretched wings grasping a silver shield in its talons, superimposed over two gold crossed fouled anchors. On either end of the band there are two small silver metal grommets near the bottom edge.
